Free Fall

There is something that I need to remember. I need to remember that when a person responds with judgment and not compassion, that says something about that person who is judging. I am quick to believe other people’s assessment of my situation before I allow myself the time that I need to make my own assessment. True, I am looking for help. Sometimes I am really grasping.

Sometimes I feel like I am in a free fall. I have heard that if you can relax and allow that free fall that fall can turn into flight. Please Lord help me to let go.

No one knows you better than you.

If someone gives you an assessment that you don’t like, or advice that doesn’t sit well with you, listen to your own heart first.

You have a beautiful heart. Trust it.

I’m sorry I keep commenting on your blog. I just felt like I wanted to say these things in response to your posts. I’ll try to keep my mouth shut from now on and will only make a peep when absolutely necessary. Just know that I’m here, reading.

    Sophia,

Please feel free to comment whenever you have the urge.

Yesterday I was talking to my daughter about this very thing that I say in this post. So many people are so quick to judge when life turns difficult. It is amazing how far a little bit of love and compassion go. The world is full of people who are in difficult times. We are so quick to judge the person who is homeless, the person who is in prison, the person who is in the psychiatric ward. It is so difficult for us to see people for who they are when they are in the most difficult straits , because we have to admit to ourselves that that could easily be us.

Please follow your inclination, Sophia, here and on your own blog. People who have the courage to love are still rare.
